Vente-privee is a French ecommerce company that pioneered the model of online flash sales.
In 2018, I took part of the new Vente-privee re-positionning as art director on the user experience. I challenged interface through design and interface on the homepage. An other part of this re-branding was to update their global email  system

This is how we worked.

Painpoints &
recommendations

Taking apart their current marketing emails and life-cycle programs, I highlighted their inconsistency, not mobile friendly not align with Vente-privee identity .

Then, I led few interviews internally and came with best practices to illustrate my recommendations.

Email builder wireframing

To manage this new email system we developed an homemade email builder based on the open source Mosaico.

Components (blocks) library

Emails are mainly structured with for sections: Header - Hero - Content - Footer
In this 4 sections, I defined a starting kit of components (blocks in Mosaico)

The Design exploration brings some new idea improving the original components and wireframes.

To have a first class email system, I challenged the  integratior team with inconventional design for emails
